Michelle Griffin is the founder and owner of
Griffin Consulting Search Group, an independent
search firm that specializes in the placement of
Accounting and Finance professionals in the
Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1998.
She brings to Griffin Consulting Search Group
over 10 years of recruiting experience – including
several years with Robert Half, International, and
at Accounting Solutions where she was responsible for starting up their Fort
Worth office.
Prior to starting her own business, Michelle worked as a Recruiting Manager
for The Controller Group, an Accounting Consulting firm focusing on
Sarbanes-Oxley & Outsourced Internal Audit and Non-Attestation
Accounting engagements.
She started her career with what is now Bank of America. She spent two
years in Internal Audit and then three years in Personal Trust & Estate
Administration.
Michelle has learned over time that her passion is working with people and
has been recruiting for Accounting and Finance professionals in the DFW
area ever since.
Michelle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Moorhead State
University in Moorhead, Minnesota, and is a licensed Certified Public
Accountant in Texas.
She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, where she serves as
the Membership Chairman for both the Dallas and Fort Worth chapters.
She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the Fort Worth chapter of the Texas Society of Certified
Public Accountants where she serves on the Membership Committee.
